Last Friday evening 90 cadets and their fathers sat down to the annual Remembrance dinner at the Leathersellers’ sports ground. Guests included the RSM from 4 Regt Army Air Corps who presented a piece of silver (a bowl) to the mess worth an estimated £3,500. This is to be awarded annually for comradeship and the inaugural winner was Staff Sergeant Simon Cox. Pictures show the Commanding Officer, Major Chris Cherry during his speech, the table layout and Staff Cox with the bowl. The dinner was presided over by the president of the mess committee, Flight Lieutenant Garry Hooton.
