Extra-curricular activities

Colfes’ aims to produce confident, articulate, well rounded individuals and the extensive extra-curricular programme is central to achieving this.  Much effort is invested in furnishing Colfeians with the widest range of opportunities to enable each to fulfil every aspect of his or her potential. The boys and girls of Colfe’s are encouraged to take full advantage of the many and varied activities available to them.

Central to this programme are Music, sport and drama and there are numerous opportunities to be involved whether at whole school or house level.  Academic clubs and societies flourish and there are numerous trips, both locally and internationally to cater for all interests.  Outdoor education is encouraged and in addition to outdoor pursuits, the programme has now been extended to games afternoons, whilst the newly introduced Duke of Edinburgh scheme is rapidly gaining in popularity. The staff are committed to maintaining and improving opportunities for our pupils and many of the positive relationships between the two are fostered through shared interests outside the classroom.
